What is the file system? Every OS has to follow a standard in order to manage data on any disk store, so that all the files on the disk can be easily managed. This is a method of organizing devious files on a standard disk system, which is called file management or file system. The file system NTFS is the most popular and used in today's date.
Thus, if a system has two partition on disk, it can be said that its computer has two file systems where it uses files to store and retrieve. Few popular file systems are -
FAT (FAT 12, FAT 16, FAT 16B, FAT32, FAT 32 with VFAT) - Support Dos to Windows different versions
NTFS - Support windows NT to windows 10
EXT (ext2, ext3, EXT4) - Linux different versions
UFS - Debian GNU
XFS - RHEL 7, CentOS 7
